When will my order ship?

- Max Tool processes orders continuously - all throughout the day - on every US business day

- 95% of items ordered will ship within 2 business days (our Web site only lists standard USA stock items)

- Ship dates will vary depending on the brand as explained in the AVAILABILITY field of each item. Most manufacturers we represent allow us to drop-ship from their warehouse direct to you, but a few require us to bring the products in to our warehouse where we repackage and ship to you.

- Each day we review the ship dates noted on the confirmations we receive from our suppliers. If an item is temporarily out of stock, we will email you promptly to give you the option of waiting, substituting, or canceling.

- Many items ship from a location other than the Max Tool warehouse, so it may not be necessary to select premium shipping. Check the ship location in the AVAILABILITY field for each item when determining how long it will take for a shipment to arrive your facility

 

 

 

How can I track my package?

Max Tool sends emails every morning containing tracking information for all orders shipped the day prior. Also you can login to your account with your email address and password, and a list of your oders will be displayed. Click View Order beside any of the orders and the details of the order will be displayed, including the tracking number if it has shipped. Your account profile should now contain tracking numbers for all orders shipped from Max Tool, as well as orders drop-shipped from most of our suppliers. Please do not email to ask us for tracking numbers on UPS Ground orders before allowing 3-4 days for your package to arrive. Because of the volume of orders we process each day, it is not efficient for us to look up information we have already sent you, which is also available on our Web site. Keeping our processes streamlined is one of the critical ways we can offer great prices every day.

 

 

What are your payment terms?

We routinely accept credit card payments through our secure Web site. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, or Discover. Established customers may apply for credit terms by submitting a credit application. Click here for a credit application form to complete and submit.

Is your price per each item, or for the whole box?

All prices shown on the Max Tool Web site are the prices for each item, not the price for a whole box. For example, if you are interested in an insert that shows to be priced at $5.00, and is sold in packs of 10, the cost of one box would be $50.00. If you place an order for the required minimum quantity of 10, the subtotal cost of your order would be $50.00, and you would receive one pack containing 10 inserts, not 10 boxes containing 10 each.

 

 

I received my order, but one item was missing. What happens now?

Occasionally on drop-ship orders our suppliers will ship a partial if they are out of stock on an item, and they will not note on the delivery ticket to show the backordered item. But if you received one of the items, it is most certain that the other item has been ordered for you and will ship to you as soon as it becomes available. Partial orders shipped from Max Tool will indicate all backorders and drop-shipments on the packing slip. If an item on your order is not in stock at Max Tool (usually a drop-ship item) when we place the order with our supplier, we receive acknowledgements that indicate shipping status. It is our policy to review supplier acknowledgements promptly and notify you of backorders that are expected to run a week or longer. On delayed orders we will offer a substitute, often from another brand, or give you the option of canceling your order and issuing a credit back to your card. For customers billed on open account, no shipping charges will be added to your Web order:

You may ship collect for shipping charges to be billed to your UPS account, otherwise, shipping
charges will be added to the final invoice sent from our accounting dept.

(regardless of your order value, weight, destination, and usually the number of shipments):

Can I get you to fax us a W9 Form?

We have that form already completed and online.

 

 

Can I get you to fax me a copy of the invoice?

If your accounting department requires hard copies of your credit card purchases, print the Order Confirmation we email you and forward it to the appropriate person in your company. Or you can print out a copy from your Internet browser after signing in to your Max Tool account online:

You can login to your account with your email address and password. You can click to view any of your past orders and print these pages from your browser for hard copy receipts.

Because of the volume of orders we process each day, time does not allow us to print out and fax copies of documents we have already emailed you. Keeping our processes streamlined is one of the critical ways we can offer great prices every day.

 

 

Do you ship orders outside of the United States?
  
Max Tool fulfills online orders for all international destinations serviced by UPS. We cannot drop-ship outside the US, so please allow an extra couple of days on your delivery for us to bring the material in to our warehouse. If you cannot locate your country on our checkout page, you may email your order or fax it to US 205-942-7144. Our international shipping options are as follows:

Canada customers:
· UPS Express 1-2 day - $50 total shipping charge
· UPS Collect - enter your UPS account number and charges will be billed to your UPS account

All other countries:
· UPS Expedited 3-4 day only - $50 USD total shipping charge
· UPS Collect - enter your UPS account number and charges will be billed to your UPS account
